Abstract

          The purposes of this study were to develop and examine the suitability of the management model of an organization towards the excellence of the Faculty of Industrial Education, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi. The study was divided into 2 steps. The first step was the study of relevant concepts and theories, the synthesis of relevant articles, and the research of experts’ opinions. The second step was the study of the suitability of the organizational management model for excellence. The instrument used in data collection were questionnaires for outline and suitability of the model with IOC at 1.00 and reliability value at 0.95. Statistics implemented in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results showed that: 1) The research management model comprised of seven aspects: (1) leadership (2) strategic planning (3) customer focus (4) measurement, analysis, and knowledge management (5) workforce focus (6) operations focus, and (7) results, 2) The examination result of the suitability of the research management model according to administrators lectures and staff both in an overall and in each element, was at the high level, in which each element could be ranked from the highest to the lowest mean value as advantage of research, policy and research strategy, potential of research personnel, administration strategy, and relationships and networks.
