A study of conditions and guidelines for developing plans and monitoring of the Faculty of Industrial Education, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi

Abstract

          The purposes of this research were to study the general conditions and guidelines for developing plans and monitoring of the Faculty of Industrial Education, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi. The sampling group were from 73 academic and support personnel of the Faculty of Industrial Education, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi B.E. 2565. The sample size was taken from Krejcie, & Morgan at 95%. Research instrument was Likert rating scale questionnaire with an IOC value of 0.80 to 1.00, reliability value of 0.95, and classification power (r) of 0.47 to 0.74. Statistics implemented in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation.


          The results showed that: 1) The overall score of the general conditions and guidelines for developing plans and monitoring of the Faculty of Industrial Education was at high level, 2) The study of guidelines for planning and monitoring of the Faculty of Industrial Education can be classified as follows (1) For planning aspect,  the planning should be communicated to Faculty personnel for acknowledgment and to participate in formulating strategies and annual action plans, as well as conveying important indicators of assigned departments to be notified for action, (2) Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) should be designed to allow personnel to recognize and be able to implement them correctly, (3) Plan implementation Information technology systems should be applied to work in order to increase work efficiency, and (4) Monitoring and Evaluation Preparation of reports to notify and follow up on various performance assignments to avoid duplicity including finding ways to solve problems and exchange ideas together.
