The effectiveness of research management at the Faculty of Industrial Education, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi

Abstract

The purposes of this research were to investigate and develop guidelines for research management under the faculty of industrial education, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi. The sampling group consisted of 72 participants as key performances from administrators, lectures and staffs. The sample size was determined using Krejcie, & Morgan's formula and chose a lottery method which resulted in a sample size of 72 people. The instrument used in data collection was a five-level rating scale questionnaire with content validity using the IOC method at 1.00, and confidence level at 0.95. Statistics implemented in data analysis were frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. The results showed that: 1) The overall score of The effectiveness of research management under the Faculty of Industrial Education, Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi is at a high level and, 2) guidelines for developing the effectiveness of research administration in the Faculty of Industrial Education Rajamangala University of Technology Suvarnabhumi with a lower average taken into consideration by finding conclusions from experts as followings: (1) Research management strategy, a strategic framework that can be used to guide research operations of personnel towards excellence including knowledge management to connect to utilization and then creating a system for developing research project proposals to internal and external funding sources to meet the needs of community’s organizations and the national strategies, (2) Utilization of research, a system that can be used to support the dissemination of academic research and creative work research rights protection and intellectual property registration and support the production of research and innovation for the benefit of local communities, society, and nation.
