The Study of Japanese Instructional Learning Management of Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus: the Past, Present and Future

Abstract

This research article aimed to 1) study the developmental stages of Japanese instruction and learning management of Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus from the B.E.2529 2) To propose the developments guidelines for the future’s Japanese instruction and learning management of Prince of Songkla University, Pattani Campus. The content analysis together with the in-depth interview of 30 informants from administrators, staff lecturers, former lecturers and students, and the present students were administered. The findings found that 1) the Japanese instruction and learning management during the B.E. 2529-2533 was an elective and minor subject. In the year B.E. 2539 opened as a major by using the Japanese curriculum of B.E. 2538; the revised one. In the year B.E.2547, the single major was administered. And from the year B.E. 2552 onwards, the curriculum were 2 types; including the single major and major and minor to definitely respond the needs and the keenest of the learners-oriented. During the long run, the instruction faces its success and obstacles. The B.E. 2569’s revised curriculum will be improved to consort with the PSU Pattani Campus’ development planning and the Faculty’s strategies that absolutely helps promote the long-life education in order to respond the needs of the society of people of all ages.
