“Nasi Gerabu” “Budu”: Rice Salad with Budu Sauce, the Traditional Taste from Kalayang Village, Jarang Subdistrict, Yaring District, Pattani Province

Abstract

For those who visit the land of Pattani, they will surely not miss the opportunity to taste the local Malay dish of the people of Nayoo, called "Nasi Gerabu" (Rice Salad), eaten with a sauce known as "Budu." This article is compiled from field research to introduce this delicious dish through a traditional Nayoo recipe from the village of Kalayang, Tumbon Jarang, Yaring District, Pattani Province. It also aims to expand the understanding of the diverse types of Nasi Gerabu found in this area.
