บทคัดย่อ

Ghost stories are often told for many purposes such as creating fear or as a gift for community management. This article is a compilation of stories about ghosts in villages in Yi-ngo District, Narathiwat Province. The interviewees were interviewed by snowball method and transcribed from Malay. and carefully re-compiled into a story in Thai. The results showed that ghost appears despite being a story that has been told to each other and the things that they encountered for themselves, both scary, pity, and terrifying places, and beliets related to people's way of life from birth to death. The arrival of the Islamization has trumadesluy made these stories fade away.
