Abstract

The three objectives of this research were (1) to study the efficiency of development of science process skills for primary school teachers in Roi Et province using the 80/80 efficiency criterion; (2) to compare the results of development of science process skills for primary school teachers in Roi Et province; and (3) to study the satisfaction of the teachers with learning management using the science process skills training package for primary school students in Roi Et province. The research sample consisted of 100 primary school teachers in Roi Et province. The research instruments were (1) a science process skills training package, (2) a science process skills test; and (3) a satisfaction evaluation form. The results were as follows: (1) the science process skills training package for primary school teachers in Roi Et province was efficient at 88.50/85.17, which was higher than the set 80/80 efficiency criterion; (2) after receiving the training with the use of the science process skills training package, the primary school teachers in Roi Et province had their post-training science process skills mean score significantly higher than their pre-training counterpart mean score at the .05 significance level; and (3) the primary school teachers in Roi Et province had overall satisfaction with learning management using the science process skills training package at the highest level, with the satisfaction rating mean of 4.57, and standard deviation of 0.40.
