Factors Affecting The Efficiency of Knowledge Sharing in The Electrical and Electronics Industry Sectors of The Electronics Industry Group in Thailand

Abstract

The objectives of this research were (1) to study the factors of the supportive knowledge sharing in the Electrical and Electronics Industry Sectors of the Electronics Industry Group; and (2) to study the factors affecting the efficiency of knowledge sharing in Electrical and Electronics Industry Sectors of the Electronics Industry Group. This Mixed Method Research were (1) qualitative research the sample of this study consisted of 20 Executive level and operating staff level in the electronics industry; and (2) quantitative research the sample of this study consisted of 233 Executive level in electronics industry. The research tools were (1) In-depth interview; and (2) questionnaire. The qualitative analysis was content analysis. The quantitative analysis was structural equation modeling (SEM).
The results of the study showed that (1) organizational culture factor and leadership factor influenced of knowledge sharing; and (2) organizational culture factor (β = 0.298, t = 3.736) and leadership factor (β = 0.353, t = 3.391) were directly influent on knowledge sharing factors in the electronics industry. In addition, the organizational culture factor (IE= 0.266) and leadership factor (IE= 0.315) were indirectly influent on the efficiency of knowledge sharing in the electronics industry in Thailand through knowledge sharing factors.
