บทคัดย่อ
การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาความคาดหวัง ความต้องการ ของชุมชนที่มีต่อบริการทางวิชาการจากคณะเทคโนโลยีสื่อสารมวลชน มหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีราชมงคล กลุ่มตัวอย่างคือผู้เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมบริการวิชาการ 414 คน จาก 23 โครงการใน 5 จังหวัด ได้แก่ ปทุมธานี นครนายก ปราจีนบุรี ฉะเชิงเทรา และสระแก้ว ใช้วิธีสุ่มตัวอย่างอย่างง่าย เก็บข้อมูลด้วยแบบสอบถามและสัมภาษณ์ ใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยแบบผสมผสาน ข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพวิเคราะห์ด้วยการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหา ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณใช้สถิติพรรณนา ได้แก่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐานตัวแปรความคาดหวังเป็นข้อมูลเชิงอันดับ และความต้องการเป็นข้อมูลเชิงกลุ่ม จึงใช้สถิตินอนพาราเมตริก ได้แก่ ครัสคาล-วัลลิส และไควสแควร์ ที่ระดับนัยสำคัญ 0.05 ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความคาดหวังด้านความรู้ความเข้าใจแตกต่างกันอย่างมีนัยสำคัญตามอายุ โดยเฉพาะระหว่างกลุ่มอายุ 21–30 ปี และ 41–50 ปี ความต้องการด้านการแก้ปัญหาเทคโนโลยีแตกต่างตามอายุและระดับการศึกษา กลุ่มอายุ 61 ปีขึ้นไปให้ความสำคัญสูงสุด และกลุ่มปริญญาตรี มีความต้องการน้อยที่สุด ผลการวิจัยสะท้อนแนวทางบริการวิชาการของคณะฯ ที่สอดคล้องกับพันธกิจมหาวิทยาลัย ถ่ายทอดองค์ความรู้ด้านการออกแบบสื่อ การสื่อสารเชิงกลยุทธ์ และการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ที่เหมาะกับบริบทชุมชน สอดคล้องกับแนวคิดการวัดผลตอบแทนทางสังคม ข้อเสนอแนะเชิงนโยบาย ได้แก่ การออกแบบกิจกรรมให้เหมาะสมกับกลุ่มเป้าหมาย พัฒนาเครื่องมือสื่อสารในกิจกรรม และจัดระบบประเมินผลร่วมกับชุมชน เพื่อเพิ่มประสิทธิภาพและความยั่งยืนของบริการวิชาการ
