Social Network of Laotian Female Migrant Workers in Udon Thani, Thailand

Abstract
This article is part of the thesis proposal regarding “Social Network construction of Lao female workers in Udon Thani.” The objective is to study the process of Social Network construction of Lao female workers in Udon Thani, Thailand. The research methodology was qualitative research by using in-depth interviews. We selected 15 key informants of Lao female workers with legal migrant Registration working in Thailand by the Snowball Technique and analyzed the social network and process of Social network construction by UCINET programs.
The results indicated that the process of social network construction of Lao female migrant workers had 4 steps which were as follows: combine with personal relationship and common experience in activities, exchange interaction, benefit cooperation and network extending while the characteristics of the relationship in network were multi - relations for a common goal, based on benefit exchange.
