Stakeholders’ analysis of the curriculum quality and the graduate quality: A case study of the Master of Arts Program in Information Science, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University

Abstract

The research aimed to analyze the curriculum quality and the graduate quality of the Master of Arts Program in Information Science, Sukhothai Thammathirat Open University by students, graduates and employers of the graduates.  In this descriptive research, the secondary data were extracted from 5 research studies on the follow-up study of the graduates and the students’ satisfaction of the program for five consecutive academic years (2014 - 2018).  The informants were 66 students, 30 graduates and 29 employers.  The research instruments were data collection and analysis form.  Content analysis, mean and standard deviation were used to analyze the data.

The research results showed that the students and the graduates perceived the curriculum quality in all aspects at the high to highest levels by which instructors were at the top.  The students and the employers perceived the graduate quality in all aspects at the high level by which moral and ethics were at the top; the graduates perceived at the high to highest levels by which human relations and responsibilities were at the top.
