Abstract

The objective of this research is to study the form, structure, and components of Ramwong. and create the dance series Ramwong Sawadee to promote the good health of the elderly in Nakhon Pathom province. Its scope of content is limited to studying the form and structure of Ramwong in Bangkok, Nakhon Pathom and Phetchaburi provinces only. Data storage area from the Chaloem Boromrajakumari Home for the Elderly only, using integrated research methods. Collect data from documents, interviews, and observations. Used for qualitative data analysis through the creative process and use the quantitative research process to analyze the evaluation results.

The research results found that 1) Ramwong is a traditional Thai cultural performance. It is played for fun and unity. It is usually danced in groups and walked in a circle. It was developed from Ram Tone. Ramwong can be classified into 2 forms: folk ramwong or retro ramwong and Ramwong Mathatan. The folk ramwong uses a simple basic dance structure, applied to the dance moves, moving in a circle and changing lines to suit the beauty. The dance steps include the
Wai Khru dance, the sweet circle dance, and the normal circle dance. The performers are women, dressed in bright colors, and use popular country music with familiar melodies and flirtatious lyrics. Ramwong Mathatan has a dance structure adapted from the Thai classical dance moves.
It moves in a circle counter-clockwise. There are 3 dance steps: showing respect. Standard circle dance 10 songs and walking onto the stage. There are 4 types of male and female dancers in 4 styles of costumes. The creation of the dance series Ramwong Sawasdee integrated the idea of passing on good wishes for good health to the elderly. The concept of using local arts and culture to improve the quality of life of the elderly. and the concept of presenting good things Tourist attractions in Nakhon Pathom province together. There is a form of singing and dancing for the sake of good health. There are set to be 7 songs, corresponding to the 7 days in a week. Use songs with familiar melodies. Use dance moves from Rumwong, traditional Thai dance moves, and exercise movement. The dance is divided into 3 parts: part 1 warming up, part 2 exercising with the Rumwong Sawasdee dance and part 3 relaxing (cooling down). The results of the behavioral assessment with 3 repeated measurements found that the elderly had better health in all aspects. Physical health had the highest mean value at (equation= 7.44). The results of the evaluation of the four dimensions of health found that after using the Ramwong Sawasdee dance, the elderly had better health in all dimensions, especially physical health, with an average value of (equation= 5.00) and the evaluation results of satisfaction with the innovation of the Ramwong Sawasdee were the highest in all aspects. The average value at (equation= 4.96). From the creation, knowledge was found on the guidelines and processes of creating dance to promote well-being in the elderly and
the consistency of dance.
