The Creation of learning Innovation titled “Lakorn-Ram” for Children and Youths

Abstract

             This study aimed to create a learning innovation titled “Lakorn- Ram” for children and youths. The study was conducted using qualitative research criteria, such as gathering information from the study and documents, including the on-site surveying. The researcher analyzed the content of the information and created the innovation medium as the electronic book or e-book.

              The research found that the creation of learning innovation titled “Lakorn-Ram” for children and youths comprised of 4 elements such as 1) the definition of concept and ideal for creating the learning innovation which enhanced the knowledge about the performing arts called “Ram” for children and youths through the creative electronic book (e-Book) media; 2) the definition and the presentation of the content that were selected and designed the academic content by presenting Thai dance movements used in the Lakorn-Ram through the drawings of 9 topics, for example, Lakorn-Ram, Lakorn-Chathree, Lakorn Nok, Lakorn Nai, and the basic gesture languages, these were presenting through the texts, pictures and symbols; 3) the design of the e-book's elements combining the conservative aspect and the visual arts concept to present pictures and contexts about Lakorn-Ram performance according to the performance’s rites and tradition, as well as attracting readers with the design of illustrations, styles of the alphabet, colours, and other art elements; and 4) The E-Book was developed as a versatile reading platform accessible both online and offline, featuring various user-friendly functions that facilitate diverse reading experiences and support self-directed learning.
