Abstract

The expansion of the art industry in Thailand has not only driven creative and economic development but has also led to growing concerns over copyright infringement, particularly in the form of art forgeries. Additionally, artists without legal knowledge are increasingly vulnerable to exploitation by commercial interests. This article aims to explore the role of copyright law within the art community by highlighting the legal rights of artists as copyright holders and identifying behaviors that may constitute copyright violations under existing laws. Furthermore, it offers practical guidance for artists and stakeholders on how to navigate copyright issues responsibly, with the goal of promoting a more ethical and sustainable art ecosystem in Thailand.
