Abstract

This research aimed to: 1) develop and evaluate the effectiveness of an online video-based lesson review system for teaching computer programming to Grade 10 students at Prasarnmit Demonstration School (Secondary) of Srinakharinwirot University, and                   2) examine the impact of the system on students' academic achievement by comparing their pre-test and post-test scores. The sample was selected using cluster sampling by dividing the population into three groups based on academic majors, from which one group was randomly chosen. The selected sample consisted of 40 Grade 10 students enrolled in the integrated engineering classroom, comprising majors in Agricultural Engineering and Innovation (AE), Food Creative Engineering (FC), Music Engineering (MS), and Sports Engineering (SE), during the second semester of the 2024 academic year. The research instruments included: 1) the online video-based lesson review system on computer programming developed by the researcher, and 2) a 20-item computer programming achievement test. Data were analyzed using mean (X̄), percentage, standard deviation (S.D.), and the paired sample t-test.

The results indicated that: 1) the developed system achieved a GTmetrix performance score of Grade A, with a performance score of 99% and a structure score of 89%; and 2) students' post-test scores were significantly higher than their pre-test scores at the .01 level of statistical significance.
