Abstract

This research aimed to study the management of the Project for Ordination of Buddhasavok and Buddhasavika Disciples to develop the mind according to the Threefold Principle of Wat Chollapratharnrangsarit. The method of collecting data on the project management was done through interviews with the 9project administrators. The researcher used data analysis methods and presented the study results through descriptive method.

The study found that this project used management principles based on the auspicious location of Wat Chollapratharnrangsarit, which facilitated transportation that supported the implementation of the four auspicious principles: suitable location, suitable food, suitable personnel, and suitable Dharma. These principles served as the foundation for management, becoming a strong point that attracted practitioners to the project continuously on their days off, specifically Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. Management was organized through planning, which included recruiting participants, participation in each activity, food arrangements, meditation kits, meditation spaces, accommodation, health care for practitioners, and more. Organizational management involved coordinating organizations that supported the practice, including a project owner who set policies, Vipassan instructors, monks, various supporting teams, and Buddhist volunteers. Staffing involved allocating and managing personnel to ensure the project's success, which included Vipassan instructors, Buddhist volunteers, cooks, and others who supported the project. Directing involved having a main Buddhist volunteer coordinator who contacted and coordinated all activities. There was a schedule established, along with the assignment of tasks, to ensure that the projects and activities ran smoothly. The controlling was managed by the project owner, to ensure that the projects and activities followed the list of teaching monks.
