3Qs: Transformational Leadership Traits of School Administrators in 21st Century

Abstract

         This academic article aims to analyse and connect the relationship between Bass & Avolio's (1994) transformational leadership theory and Jack Ma's (2023) 3Qs leadership concept (EQ: Emotional quotient, IQ: Intelligence quotient, LQ: Love quotient), focusing on presenting these three characteristics, which are important factors for helping school administrators possess transformational leadership traits that better influence followers. It also provides an overview of effective leadership in the context of the school to create change and development in a better direction amidst the rapid, volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity, and unpredictable changes in the 21st century.
