การประเมินองค์ประกอบของภูมิทัศน์เมืองที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความรู้สึกปลอดภัยของผู้หญิง ในการใช้พื้นที่สาธารณะในเมืองเชียงใหม่

บทคัดย่อ
การใช้พื้นที่สาธารณะอย่างปลอดภัยเป็นปัจจัยสำคัญที่เกี่ยวข้องกับคุณภาพชีวิตและสิทธิในการเข้าถึงเมืองของผู้หญิง อย่างไรก็ตามลักษณะทางกายภาพของภูมิทัศน์เมืองมีความเกี่ยวข้องกับความรู้สึกปลอดภัยในการใช้พื้นที่สาธารณะ บทความวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ (1) ประเมินระดับการรับรู้ความปลอดภัยของผู้หญิงในการใช้พื้นที่สาธารณะในเมืองเชียงใหม่ และ (2) ศึกษาองค์ประกอบของภูมิทัศน์เมืองที่เกี่ยวข้องกับความรู้สึกปลอดภัยของผู้หญิงในการใช้พื้นที่สาธารณะในเมืองเชียงใหม่ การวิจัยนี้ใช้วิธีการวิจัยเชิงปริมาณ โดยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากแบบสอบถามกับกลุ่มตัวอย่างผู้หญิงที่ใช้พื้นที่สาธารณะในเขตเมืองเชียงใหม่ จำนวน 120 คน โดยใช้การเลือกตัวอย่างแบบสะดวก เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือแบบสอบถามเกี่ยวกับการรับรู้ความปลอดภัยตามองค์ประกอบภูมิทัศน์เมือง ได้แก่ แสงสว่าง การมองเห็นพื้นที่ ความชัดเจนของเส้นทาง การดูแลรักษาพื้นที่ และการมีผู้คนใช้งานพื้นที่ วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้สถิติเชิงพรรณนา ได้แก่ ความถี่ ร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย และส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ผู้หญิงมีระดับการรับรู้ความปลอดภัยในการใช้พื้นที่สาธารณะในเมืองเชียงใหม่โดยรวมอยู่ในระดับปานกลาง (µ = 3.55, S.D. = 0.81) โดยองค์ประกอบภูมิทัศน์เมืองที่มีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงที่สุด ได้แก่ แสงสว่างในพื้นที่สาธารณะ การมองเห็นพื้นที่โดยรอบได้อย่างชัดเจน และการมีผู้คนใช้งานพื้นที่อย่างต่อเนื่อง ขณะที่พื้นที่ที่มีแสงสว่างไม่เพียงพอ มีจุดอับสายตา หรือขาดการดูแลรักษาอย่างเหมาะสม มีแนวโน้มทำให้ผู้หญิงหลีกเลี่ยงการใช้พื้นที่ดังกล่าว ผลการศึกษานี้สะท้อนให้เห็นถึงความสำคัญของการออกแบบและจัดการภูมิทัศน์เมืองที่คำนึงถึงความปลอดภัยของผู้หญิง โดยเฉพาะการพัฒนาระบบแสงสว่าง การออกแบบพื้นที่ให้สามารถมองเห็นได้ชัดเจน และการส่งเสริมกิจกรรมที่เพิ่มการใช้งานพื้นที่สาธารณะอย่างต่อเนื่อง ซึ่งสามารถนำไปใช้เป็นแนวทางในการวางแผนและพัฒนาเมืองให้มีความปลอดภัยและเป็นมิตรต่อผู้หญิงมากยิ่งขึ้น
