TA-KAN DANCE

Abstract

The research aims to study Ta-Kan Dance for thai classical dance of Sukhothai College of Dramatic Arts in the 1988 to present determine study back history idea and study the pattern north folk dance of Thailand Having studied the practice of classical dance postures Ta-Kan Dance can be described by 3 main groups of this research as follows: 1) To study background history and the idea; 2) To study the patterns Ta-Kan Dance;     3) To study is to identify the characteristics of Ta-Kan Dance. The results reveal there are 3 correction methods of Ta-Kan Dance postures: 1) Ta-Kan Dance is the creative performance by teachers in the faculty of Dramatic Arts and Music, Sukhothai College of Dramatic Arts, in the 1988; 2) Correction by use lady woman only with’ unlimited, costumes is Sukhothai’s local style, The music produced by the Pi Paat band a principle, melody structure has the distribution is 3 the part, 2 rhythm rates and single-storied and in front overlay Laos, use show in auspicious general ceremony and engage in business to show the light and sound, in the Loy Kratong Festival burns the candle plays the fire, Sukhothai, the technique dances to divide is 4 the step, there is the harbour dances 13 harbour pillars and the harbour believe in 2 the harbour, use 8 5 body part direction movements and deploying 7 the format; 3) Identify the characteristics of Ta-Kan Dance in Na-ta-ya-luk is mix of local tradition (North & Center) The show aims to focus on the folk traditions of the Buddhist culture.
