CHILDREN’S DRAWINGS AS REFLECTIONS OF LIFE IN THE SLUMS

These drawings by children living in slums are part of the creative series for Reflections on the Lives of Slum Children. Art work want to unique techniques for pen and acrylic on paper and canvas. The Art work were inspired by analyzing children’s drawings living in slums, resulting in artworks based on real life as well as on children's hopes and imagined fantasies. In this way we creatively employed real-life data from a specific environment. All four works, each combining two pieces, were done in pen and acrylic on paper and canvas. Each work reflects what children express in their art about life in a slum.
