DEVELOPMENT OF KNOWLEDGE AND UNDERSTANDING FOR VOCAL RANGE AND TYPES OF SINGING OF LEARNERS (STUDENTS) IN GRADE 9 OF SANTA CRUZ CONVENT SCHOOL BY APPLYING MULTIMEDIA COMPUTING LESSONS

Abstract

The objective of the study was to develop knowledge and understanding of vocal range by applying multimedia computing lessons. Five students studying in Grade 9 of Santa Cruz Convent School, semester 2 of academic 2018, were chosen as its samples.

Its results showed that the students were more interested in the materials and its contents. They could understand the lessons and could correctly answer the questions. Moreover, the testing results of their knowledge and understanding of vocal range and the type of chorus were not less than 70% of the total score of 20, with mean of 16.4, representing 82% of the total score.
