A Study of Burnout in Studying English of Undergraduate Students of Rajapark Institute

Abstract
This study aimed to (1) study levels of burnout in studying English of undergraduate students at Rajapark Institute, (2) compare levels of burnout in studying English of undergraduate students at Rajapark Institute divided by different backgrounds, (3) study factors affecting burnout in studying English of undergraduate students at Rajapark Institute, and (4) qualitatively study the teaching and learning processes of English classroom. Samples were of 283 undergraduate students which selected by the multiple random sampling method. The research instruments were the Burnout in Studying English Questionnaires (BSEQ), the t-test for independent sample, One-Way ANOVA, and the Multiple Regression were used to analyze data. The results revealed that all undergraduate students, in both genders and faculties, had a moderate level of burnout in studying English. All factors were significantly affecting the burnout in studying English level at .05, which also explained the burnout in studying English at 85.4%.
