Business Operation Guideline with Corporate Social Responsibility of Listed Companies in Market for Alternative Investment (MAI)

Abstract

This research had the objectives aiming at studying the factors contributing to awareness of business operation with corporate social responsibility of listed companies in Market for Alternative Investment (MAI). Such factors were consisted of internal and external factors. The study of awareness level of companies listed on the Market for Alternative Investment were based on four components: (1) Social responsibility in the economy (2) Corporate social responsibility (3) Ethical responsibility and (4) Voluntary social responsibility. The research uses quantitative data and qualitative data for analysis. Population used in this research were 121 listed companies in MAI. Sample size in case of exact population known were determined at the number of 93 companies. For qualitative data collection, we use focus group discussion among top management, and people involved in corporate CSR. It could be divided by industry group into 8 companies
