The Study of Users Satisfaction on Spatail Web Application for Flood Warning in Hat Yai City

Abstract

The objectives of this research are (1) To survey the needs of the flood warning system (2) To assess the satisfaction of users towards the spatial web application for flood warning in Hat Yai City. The research tools are (1) Questionnaire on the needs of system usage and interview form (2) Sample group who are the 400 respondents of questionnaireon the needs of system usage and 40 samples from satisfaction assessment. The research found that (1) For the needs of system usage, the residents of Hat Yai have the overall needs at high level which demonstrates that in this research, the researcher has designed the program that can display and process the result promptly which creates convenience for program usage (2) For the satisfaction of users towards the web application, overall is at highest level which demonstrates that the developed program can solve problems as well as assist the flood victims in the area effectively as well as having high data transfer speed to various institutes for prompt mitigation.
