Abstract

Geography is the study of space. There are many methods to study, one is the basic to get you value and the benefits of learning cost-effectively is the study of geography from the topography of the village name. Toponyms are a place name, such as a city, village, mountain, river, waterfall, and road, in this case, use a village’s name. Suphanburi is a province in a central region of Thailand, not far from Bangkok, and famous for a long history. The study in Geography from Toponyms of the village’s name in Suphanburi helps everyone know the nature of the area that they live and take the basic geographical knowledge to decision making for themselves and their family. For the firm, the organization and government officials can take the basic geographical knowledge to make the policy for land use or tourism. As the result, there are geographical toponyms about 70% of the village’s name. The most geographical toponyms are in water and water resources 45% of geographical toponyms. Besides, there are geographical toponyms in the mountain group about 25 villages (3% of geographical toponyms)
