Communication of Airline Business Curriculum of a Private University

Abstract

The purposes of this study are set as follows: 1) to study the demographic of students who study the Airline Business curriculum in one private university. 2) To study the ability level in communication of the students who study the Airline Business curriculum in one private university. This research is based on quantitative research using questionnaires for collecting the data from 128 students in bachelor level studying Airline Business curriculum in one private university. The data is analyzed by using the frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation (S.D.). The study reveals that 1) the female students at the age of 18 years; the first year students who’s parental income is lower than 15,000 baht a month and own small businesses are interested in the Airline Business curriculum by of their own volition. 2) Overall the level of communication ability in the Airline Business curriculum is quite high (mean=65.58 and S.D.=8.912). Consequently, the overall public perception of the Airline Business is at a high level as well (mean =44.70 and S.D.=6.477). Moreover, the overall competency of the instructors is also of a high level (mean=20.88 and S.D.=2.939).
