The Metropolitan Tharuea Police Station Officers’ Opinions Concerning Working Within the Power and Duties Prescribed by Law of the Commissioner’s Office for Monitoring and Following up the Operations of Tharuea Police Station

Abstract
This study aimed to explore Tharuea Police Station officer's opinions concerning working within the power and duties prescribed by the law of the Commissioner’s Office for Monitoring and following up the operations of the Tharuea Police Station. It was survey research using a questionnaire to collect data. The population consisted of 154 police officers of Tharuea Police Station. Data analysis was carried out by performing statistical hypothesis tests using t-test, F-test, and Scheffe’s Multiple Comparison Test at significance level 0.05. The results showed that 1. The overall opinions were at a good level with a mean score of 4.06 and the standard deviation was equal to .66 2. The opinions in 3 out of 11 items were found to vary according to different ages of Tharuea police station officers.
