The Fake News's Infodemic about the COVID-19 Pandemicand the Preventive Measures in Thailand

Abstract
“Fake news” in the 21st century is a big challenge for the information age society, as everyone can become independent news creators and broadcasters who make it a strong multi-dimensional effect instrument. Therefore, the objectives of this article were to study the situation, impacts and measures to prevent the fake news's infodemic about the COVID-19 pandemic in Thailand. The fake news's infodemic about the COVID-19 effect on 5 dimensions: mind, health, society, economy, and the security and credibility of the country. In conclusion of the study found that, an effective measure to prevent fake news must be implemented in a comprehensive, integrated manner, using more problem-solving technology, and cooperation from the public sector. It also does not focus on unilateral government or pursuing legal means as today.
