Abstract

The objectives of this research paper were 1) to study the conditions and factors of management and 2) to find ways to manage, develop, and upgrade product standards through a qualitative research group of informants. The tools used were an interview form and a group conversation recording form. The data were analyzed by content analysis. and presented in the form of an essay. The results of the study revealed that: 1. The center has carried out a variety of activities including being able to process and create three products: hollow honey, earthworm manure, and rice products. Two of the products, hollow honey and earthworm fertilizer, were upgraded to be the standard products. 2. Guidelines for management, development, and upgrading of product standards of Chiang Rai Rajabhat University in Chiang Saen district of both products consist of 4 steps in the first stage. 1) In the planning process, there must be a policy to determine the responsible persons to plan the production, price, location and marketing as a whole team to work with other sectors dealing with factors in the procedure starting from the planning, personnel, budget, equipment, and process management. 2. In the operation step, it must be operated under the goals and plans that are set using the resources including people, tools, and technology to operate in terms of production, pricing of products, building sites for production and distribution, and marketing channels and distribution to enhance the product quality. 3. The monitoring procedure, the operation and production of products, including location pricing and marketing must be controlled, supervised, reported and revised to meet the standards. 4. The last step, the evaluation and improvement process require evaluations of production, price, location and marketing.
