Administrative Promotion of Internationalization for Living in the ASEAN Community of Nonthaburi City Municipality

Abstract
The objectives of this study were to investigate the administrative problems and explore the administrative promotion guidelines of internationalization for living in the ASEAN Community of Nonthaburi City Municipality. The Internationalization for Living in the ASEAN Community Concept, consisting of 3 aspects and the 3 Principles of Good Governance, was applied as the conceptual framework for the independent and dependent variables of this study, respectively. The questionnaire was used for data collection from the 1,102 samples who were residents. A total of 1,021 completed questionnaires were returned. Statistics used were percentage, mean, standard deviation, multiple regression, and Pearson’s product moment correlation coefficient. The findings showed that the main administrative problem was that Nonthaburi City Municipality disseminated the internationalization for living in the ASEAN Community to its residents with little emphasis on openness to the world, and the main administrative promotion guidelines were that Nonthaburi City Municipality should disseminate the internationalization for living in the ASEAN Community to its residents with more emphasis on openness to the world. In this regard, the administrative promotion guidelines for internationalization for living in the ASEAN Community of Nonthaburi City Municipality should consist of three aspects in order of importance: (1) Openness to the World, (2) Diversity, and (3) Inclusion in the World.
