A Study of Instructional Leadership of Primary School Academic Affairs Administrators: Viewpoints of Teachers in Tha Yang District, Petchaburi Province

Abstract
The objectives of this research were 1) to study the instructional leadership of primary school academic affairs administrators and 2) to compare the instructional leadership of primary school academic affairs administrators focusing on the viewpoints of teachers in Phetchaburi Province, classified by personal factors. The data were collected from a stratified random sampling sample of 213 teachers in Tha Yang District, Phetchaburi Province, using questionnaires. The statistics used for data analysis included mean, standard deviation, t-test, and one-way ANOVA analysis. The results found that 1) teachers’ viewpoints on the instructional leadership of primary school academic affairs administrators overall and separated aspects were at a high level, including preparing educational quality development plans, creating environments for learning, developing curriculum and instructional management, and developing the quality of teachers, academic personnel, and learners; and 2) a comparison of teachers’ viewpoints on the instructional leadership of primary school academic affairs administrators classified by gender, age, experiences, and size of schools found that the difference in the size of the school showed a significant difference in instructional leadership at a level of .05.
