Abstract
ABSTRACT
This study was an evaluation research in the master degree of education curriculum, educational research and evaluation program, using System Approach Model as a guideline for evaluation. The purpose is to evaluate the curriculum in terms of inputs, process and productivity. The target group consists of 3 groups: students, curriculum committees / curriculum lecturers / lecturers / thesis advisors and board of graduate school. Survey, questionnaires and structured interviews were used as the research instruments and collected from target participants. The quantitative data were analyzed by using frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Content analysis and descriptive analysis were revealed by using open-ended questions and interviews.
The research result found that;
1. The purpose that evaluated the curriculum in terms of inputs was;
1.1 Opinions of curriculum committees / curriculum lecturers / lecturers / thesis advisors and boards of graduate school were overall at the very high level, so did each item, they was also found that most of them were at the very high level.
1.2 Opinions of students was at the very high level, so does each item, it was also found that most of them were at the very high level.
2. The purpose that evaluated the curriculum in terms of process inputs was;
2.1 Overall, opinions of curriculum committees / curriculum lecturers / lecturers / thesis advisors and board of graduate school was at the very high level.
2.2 Opinions of students was at the very high level, so does each item, it was found as at the highest level.
2.3 Opinion of graduate school board in curriculum in order to graduating was at the high level. It concerned with the process and registration, also the written test and interviews. The meeting about the criteria was set clearly, which related with the regular curriculum, and re-checked by the graduate school and the academic office.
3. The purpose that evaluated the curriculum in terms of productivity was;
3.1 Overall, opinions of curriculum committees / curriculum lecturers / lecturers / thesis advisors and board of graduate school was at the very high level.
3.2 Opinions of students was at the very high level, so does each item, they were found as at the most agreeable level.
