The Development of Students Digital Skill Indicators in Higher Education Institutions

Abstract
The purpose of this research were 1) develop the digital skill indicators of students in higher education institutions, and 2) investigate the construct validity of digital skill indicators of students in higher education institutions. The sample was consisted of 987 students with selected from a multi-stage random sampling. The research instruments were a rating scale questionnaire. The data were analyzed by using median, interquartile range, and confirmatory factor analysis. Mplus were employed for data analysis. The result revealed that: 1) there were 12 indicators for digital skill of students, their appropriateness was between a high level and the highest level, and 2) the indicators of students correlated with empirical data and had construct validity (Chi-square = 29.890, df =23, p-value = 0.1526, RMSEA = 0.017, CFI = 0.998, and SRMR = 0.017)
