Abstract

การวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเปรียบเทียบความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษและทักษะทางสังคมของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีก่อนและหลังการเรียนด้วยกิจกรรมที่เน้นกลวิธีอภิปัญญาและกลวิธีทางสังคม กลุ่มเป้าหมายที่ใช้ในการวิจัยคือ นักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีที่ลงทะเบียนเรียนรายวิชาภาษาอังกฤษเพื่องานอาชีพ ในภาคเรียนที่ 3 ปีการศึกษา 2557 ซึ่งได้มาจากการเลือกแบบเจาะจง จำนวน 30 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ แผนการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่ใช้กิจกรรมที่เน้นกลวิธีอภิปัญญาและกลวิธีทางสังคม จำนวน 6 แผน แบบทดสอบความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษ และแบบประเมินทักษะทางสังคม การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยใช้โปรแกรมคอมพิวเตอร์ หาค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน และค่าร้อยละผลการวิจัยพบว่า ความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษและทักษะทางสังคมของนักศึกษาหลังการเรียนด้วยกลวิธี อภิปัญญาและกลวิธีทางสังคม สูงขึ้นจากระดับปานกลางเป็นระดับสูงและผ่านเกณฑ์ที่กำหนด ผลจากการใช้กิจกรรมที่เน้นกลวิธีอภิปัญญาและกลวิธีทางสังคมในครั้งนี้ช่วยส่งเสริมความสามารถในการอ่านภาษาอังกฤษและทักษะทางสังคมของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีที่เป็นกลุ่มเป้าหมายได้เป็นอย่างดี

 

English Reading Ability and Social Skills of the Undergraduates’ Learning through Integrated-Learning Activities of Metacognitive and Social Strategies

This research aimed at comparing the students’ English reading ability and social skills before and after learning through the activities of metacognitive and social strategies. The target group selected by purposive sampling technique was 30 undergraduate students who enrolled in English for Career Course at Rajamangala University of Technology Lanna, during the third semester of the academic year 2014. The research instruments were 6 lesson plans focusing on reading ability test, and social skills evaluation form. The data obtained were analyzed by using the computer program for mean, standard deviation and percentage. The findings revealed that the students’ reading ability and social skills after the metacognitive implementation and their social strategies were increased from a moderate level to a high level and met the set criterion. As a result, the activities of metacognitive and social strategies well supported the target undergraduates’ English reading ability and social skills.
