A Synthesis of Recommendations from the Report on Results of the Third Round External Quality Assessment (B. E. 2554 – 2558) of Higher Education Institutions

Abstract
A synthesis of recommendations from the report on results of the third round external quality assessment (B. E. 2554 – 2558) of 260 higher education institutions, as classified by the standards based on the Ministry Regulations, results in the following key recommendations: (1) in the aspect of educational management outcomes and learner-centered instructional management, the key recommendations are as follows: the educational institutions should develop instructional programs that meet the market demands and be up-to-date based on the international standards; they should encourage the faculty members to conduct research and publish their research and academic works; they should integrate their instructional management with their academic service to the community; and they should promote the cooperation with both the state and private work agencies to systematically disseminate knowledge on arts and culture; (2) in the aspect of management and administration, the key recommendation is that the educational institutions should develop their internal operation systems and mechanisms to be able to efficiently respond to the key policies and policies of high level executives; and (3) in the aspect of internal quality assurance, the key recommendation is that the educational institutions should develop their systems and mechanisms for filing and reporting information based on quality evaluation criteria.
