The Attributes of the Graduates from the Faculty of Education Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University Based on Thai Qualifications Framework for Higher Education

Abstract
The aims of this descriptive research were to investigate the attributes of the graduates from the Faculty of Education, and to compare their attributes with Thai Qualification Framework for Higher Education based on the opinions of the employers’ and the graduates. The sample included 1) 259 employers; and 2) 259 graduates from the Faculty of Education obtained through simple random sampling. Data were collected using 5-point Likert scale questionnaires, comprising items in 5 aspects: 1) Ethics and Moral; 2) Knowledge; 3) Cognitive Skills; 4) Interpersonal Skills and Responsibility; and 5) Numerical Analysis, Communication and Information Technology Skills. The reliability of the questionnaires for employers and graduates were .982, and .987 respectively. Data were analyzed using the mean, standard deviation and t-test for independent group. The findings were as follows. 1) The employers evaluated the attributes of the graduates from the Faculty of Education, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University at the high level. Regarding individual aspect, interpersonal skills and responsibility, and ethics and moral were rated at the highest level. 2) The graduates from the Faculty of Education, Bansomdejchaopraya Rajabhat University evaluated their overall attributes at the high level. Regarding individual aspect, it was also rated at the high level that could be ranged from the highest to the lowest as follows: ethics and moral, interpersonal skills and responsibility, knowledge, cognitive skills, and numerical analysis, communication and information technology skills respectively. 3) In general, the employers evaluated the attributes of the graduates from the Faculty of Education differently from the self- evaluation of the graduates at the .01 level of significance.
