Abstract

The objectives of this research is to study on styles and to analyse shop house from Built Vernacular Heritage for Cultural Landscape Area in Ayutthaya Historic City in order to Develop the designs of shop house from Built Vernacular Heritage for Cultural Landscape Area in Ayutthaya Historic City and then evaluate the customer perception on the style of shop house in term of the harmony in cultural landscape area. Samples Used in this research consist of 5 groups 1) 5 policy makers 2) 5 service
persons (sellers) 3) 60 customers (visitor) 4) 5selected shop house in the research area 5) 400 visitors who buy products and for service from service person. Starting by gathering information. on the relevant concepts and theories in order to frame up the concept of this research, Both primarily from the field research and secendarily from the old documents. There are 5 research instruments in this research namely, 1) The questionnaire for consumers’ opinions in term of shop house design (before the design in this research has been done), 2) The in-depth interview from service person 3) The survey collecting form on the design of shop house 4) Perceptual Evaluation form for experts 5) Perceptual Evaluation form for customer after visiting and taking service. From the research,it has been found that .The Perceptual Evaluation result of
customer after taking service were high satisfaction at 0.05 significant levels and satisfy
the shop house at high level in every ways .The nationality of customer have an effect
on customer's perception at 0.05 significant levels but the gender is not effect on
customer's perception.
