The Development of Lanna Pattern Bamboo Curl Folk Craft by Decoupage Technique of the Ban Rong Can Chai Community, Sarapee District, Chang Mai Province

Abstract

             This research designed Thai Lanna patterns to be used to decorate curled bamboo handicraft products using decoupage techniques, while measuring consumer satisfaction and conveying knowledge and technology for developing bamboo handicraft products with the Lanna pattern with decoupage techniques. Data storage – Using the target satisfaction questionnaire and analyzed with statistical statistics, the study found the design of patterns unique to the Lanna people. Choose from three landmark religious sites: Wat Phra Singha Woramahawihan, Wat Duang Di and Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan. Each temple has its distinct cultural features. Wat Phra Singha Woramahawihan stands out for its stucco patterns. Duang Di Temple features wooden carvings with delicate beauty. The three temples of Wat Chedi Luang Worawihan inspired the design and development of patterns used to decorate bamboo handicraft products with Lanna patterns, including home furnishings, gift products, and household products. A total of 25 people expressed satisfaction with the research project. The development of Lanna PatternEd Bamboo Handicraft Products includes the decoupage techniques of the Ban Rong Don Chai Community, Saraphi District, and Chiang Mai Province. Considered as the subject matter for the course were the design lecturers, materials, facilities, and value and usability. The highest satisfaction score from all assessments – For the total average score from each assessment, all aspects showed that all aspects had the highest satisfaction average score.
