The Guidelines Developing Internal Quality Assurance System of Piyaporn Pittaya School

Abstract

The aims of this study were: (1) to examine the circumstance of internal quality assurance system of Piyaporn Pittaya School; (2) to investigate the factors affecting the internal quality assurance system of Piyaporn Pittaya School; to propose the guidelines developing internal quality assurance system of Piyaporn Pittaya School. The population involved school principal, vice-principal, teachers, and school board of committee. The research instruments were questionnaire and interview. The data analysis employed percentage, mean, and content analysis. The results showed that: 1. The circumstance of internal quality assurance system of Piyaporn Pittaya School comprised 8 components. It was found that, in overall, the internal quality assurance at Piyaporn Pittaya School was rated at moderate level. The individual aspects analysis indicated that the school standards were rated at good level. The development plan based on school quality standards was rated at moderate level. Information system management was rated at good level. Action plan implementation was rated at moderate level. School education quality verification was rated at moderate level. Internal quality assurance was rated at good level. Annual report on internal quality assurance was rated at good level. Consistent quality development was rated at moderate level. 2. The key factors affecting internal quality assurance system of Piyaporn Pittaya School were 1) Man 2) Money 3) Material and 4) Management. 3. The guidelines for development of internal quality assurance system of Piyaporn Pittaya School and standards of consistent education quality development were proposed. Administrators should raise awareness about quality education development for all educational personnel. The development of internal quality assurance system in schools is considered necessary in creating quality "Organization Culture" and trust for parents, community and related organizations. The development of educational institutions should aim for learning organization were all personnel are learning people i.e. self-development, learning, and always prompt for sharing.
