A Student Care and Supporting System Management for Multicultural Students of WAT WAT MUENBUDDHA Wittaya School

Abstract

The purposes of this study were: To study about the student care and supporting system for multicultural student of WAT MUENBUDDHA Wittaya School. 1) to examine the circumstance of student care and supporting system 2) to find out the factors which affecting to the successful of student care and supporting systemTo propose the guideline of improvement 1) to structure the next model of student care and supporting management system for WAT MUENBUDDHA Wittaya School which full of multicultural students and supported with the guideline from Department of Mental Health 2) to suggest the development methods of student care and supporting management system of WAT MUENBUDDHA Wittaya School to succeed in the future The data which used in this study is compound with the primary data and secondary data. The primary data sources were gathering from the school administrators, supervisors, teachers and students. The secondary data sources were the school documentary analysis from year 2015 until present, the collection tools were the interviews, documentary analysis form, satisfaction form, and group discussion form. The data was analyzed by frequency, mean, standard derivation, and content analysis. The results stated that: 1. The condition of student care and supporting management system The overall quality of student care and supporting management system was in “moderately level”, while the satisfaction of school administrator was in the “highest level”, the satisfaction of teachers and students was in “high level”. The quality assurance of student care and supporting management system was focused on 5 dimensioned. The research stated that there is no formerly research in student care and supporting system in the school, but there is the research about the operation of student care and supporting system. 2. From the results, there are 2 main factors which are supporting factors and restraint factors. The supporting factors are the operation which aim on the cooperation from every section, clearly named the working group, promotes participants to join the performing meeting, and training in relating project. The restraint factors are including with the lacking of motivation of the human resources, short of the equipment and material in operation, low technology in gathering and managing information, lack ofquality and quantity of teachers: lack of knowledge, frequently transfer, and lack of staffs, also the financial problem and misuse budget, lack of strictness in controlling, multicultural and multi ethic are one of the misunderstanding while contacting with the student guardians. 3. The future scenario of student care and supporting management system in 2018 - 2019 will composed of the quality, the satisfaction of involving person, internal process, education and progression. The adjustment of the management by changing from government sector style to private sector style adapted from Balanced Scorecard (BSC). 4. To achieve the successful of the development of student care and supporting management system of WAT MUENBUDDHA Wittaya School consisted of these strategies. First, developing the quality of student care and supporting management system. Second, developing human resources and networking for the strength by focusing on the participation principle. Third, developing the school as the organization for student care and supporting system learning. Finally, developing research, media and information technology for student care and supporting management system.
