Abstract

The aims of this study were 1 ) to examine the current curriculum administration conditions of career-oriented classroom at Mae Chan Wittayakhom School; 2 ) to review the desirable conditions of curriculum administration for career-oriented classroom at Mae Chan Witthayakhom School 3) to develop the guidelines for curriculum administration of career-oriented classroom at Mae Chan Wittayakhom School. The scope of school curriculum administration involved 7 steps. The samples for research objectives 1 and 2 were school administrators, school committees, teachers, and parents. The research instruments were interview and questionnaire, and the data was analyzed by mean, standard deviation and content analysis. The samples for research objective 3 were divided into 3 groups: policy maker group, academic and operational groups. The research instrument was focus-group discussion, and the data was analyzed by content analysis. The results showed that: The current curriculum administration conditions of career-oriented classroom Mae Chan Wittayakhom School under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 3 6 , in overall 7 aspects, revealed problems in every aspect. The problems for individual aspects were, for example, building awareness for involved persons, using the existing limited budgets, conducting classroom research, performing action plan, developing supervision activities. The desirable curriculum administration conditions of career-oriented classroom at Mae Chan Wittayakhom School under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 3 6 , in overall 7 aspects, were rated at the high level. The guidelines for curriculum administration of career-oriented classroom curriculum at Mae Chan Wittayakhom School under Secondary Educational Service Area Office 3 6 were proposed. 1. School curriculum administration planning should appoint the committees promoting research on curriculum development of career-oriented classroom curriculum and consultation plan. 2 . Preparation of school should focus on building awareness on importance of developing career-oriented classroom curriculum and organizing training and seminars to enhance skills for involved personnel, and performing public relations to allow an access the careeroriented classroom program. 3 . Improvement and development of curriculum administration process for the school must setup a meeting to reflect problems in curriculum development. 4 . Supervision, monitoring and evaluation should arrange the meetings that allow external parties to co-monitor the problems and appoint the working committee. 5 . Summary of curriculum administration outcome should arrange the training on academic outcome and develop accurate academic report. 6 . School curriculum content should allocate comprehensive and sufficient budget for teaching and learning for maximum benefits of students’ in their learning. 7 . Operation of curriculum administration should disseminate knowledge for involved persons in undertraining the working processes in the career-oriented classroom.
