The Guidelines for Risk Administration and Management in School Underpinning Thailand Education 4.0 - A Case of Acting School Director of Ban Long-Or School under Mae Soon Sub-district Administrative Organization

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to propose the guidelines for risk administration and management in school underpinning Thailand Education 4.0 - a case of acting school director of Ban Long-Or School under Mae Soon Sub-district Administrative Organization. The framework for this study employed COSO ( the Committee of Sponsoring Organizations of the Tread way Commission) covering 4 aspects i.e. strategic, operational, financial, and compliance. The research instruments were brainstorming and focus-group discussion. The data was calculated for mean and standard deviation while interview data was analyzed by content analysis and reported in narrative format. The results showed that: The risk administration and management of Ban Long-Or, at present, was rated at the moderate level which showed the risk tendency affecting the organization that required remedy. The factors affecting risk administration and management – a case of acting school director of Ban Long-Or School covering 4 aspects i.e. knowledge and competency of personnel, administrator leadership, morality and ethics of personnel, budget, administration and management, administrator vision, information technology, communication system, determination of personnel, participation and teamwork, policy of affiliated organization. These were considered influential promoting and depromoting factors affecting the risk management which were inclusive in the foundation factors for administration and management.The future scenario of risk administration and management underpinning Thailand Education 4.0 of Ban Long-Or School under Mae Soon Sub-district Administrative Organization covered strategic, operational, financial and compliance based on possibility of organization. The risk administration and management guidelines for Ban Long-Or School under Mae Soon Sub-district Administrative Organization for Thailand Education 4.0 involved 2 components i.e. 1) Risk management framework underlying Education 4.0 consisted of risk management process, methods/procedures in risk management, and factors promoting risk administration and management. 2 ) The risk administration and management guidelines underlying Education 4.0 consisted of risk acceptance, risk reduction and risk sharing.
