Evaluation of the Moral School Project of Okhaburi Group of Schools under the Supervision of Phichit Primary Educational Service Area Office 1

Abstract

                The objectives of the independent study were (1) to evaluate the moral school project of Okhaburi group of schools under the supervision of Phichit Primary Educational Service Area Office 1, with regard to input, process, and output, (2) to find out a guideline for developing the moral school project of Okhaburi group of schools under the supervision of Phichit Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample in the study included school administrators, teachers, students, parents, and school committee, 310 persons in total. There were 17 key informants. The research instruments were a questionnaire and an interview. Data were analyzed using a statistical software package, mean ( , standard deviation (S.D.), frequency (f) and sequencing.

                The study results indicated that (1) according to school administrators and teachers’ opinions, overall it was at the highest level and passed the evaluation criteria. Consideration of each area found that output, process, and input had the highest mean respectively. (1.1) Location in the input had the highest mean. (1.2) Inspection and performance evaluation in the process had the highest mean. (1.3) As for output, according to opinions of school administrators and teachers, school administrators and teachers have morality and ethics that can be a good example for students. According to opinions of students, parents, and school committee, students are disciplined, (2) with regard to a guideline for developing the project, according to experts’ opinions, school administrators should promote the training of personnel and use resources efficiently, use existing media, and manage environment appropriately. School administrators should hold a meeting to clarify the content and operational guidelines, use technology for public relations, and inspect operational performance. The evaluation results should be used to make a plan for preparing the project in the future. schools administrators and teachers are able to express their opinions. Students pay attention to perform their duties continuously, stay healthy. Places of living and environment are maintained in a hygienic manner, and they live their lives in a simple way.
