Guidelines for Developing Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education of Universities in Guangxi

The objectives of this research were 1) to study the current situation of developing innovation and entrepreneurship education in universities in Guangxi, 2) to provide the guidelines for developing innovation and entrepreneurship education of universities in Guangxi, and 3) to evaluate the suitability and feasibility of guidelines for developing innovation and entrepreneurship education of universities in Guangxi were including 5 following aspects: 1) teacher allocation, 2) theoretical teaching, 3) practical activities, 4) service platforms and 5) incentive policies.
The sample group in this research were 191 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Teachers of Guangxi in universities by using stratified sampling and sample random sampling. The Interview group was 10 middle-level administrators and 11 experts evaluated the model using purposive sampling. The research instruments were documents analysis, questionnaire, and structured interview. The statistic to analyze the data were percentage, mean, and standard deviation.
The results were found that the current situation of developing innovation and entrepreneurship education was at high level. Considering the results of this research aspects ranged from the highest to lowest mean were as follow: the highest mean was Practical activities, followed by Incentive policy, and Theoretical teaching was the lowest mean. The development guidelines for innovation and entrepreneurship education in Guangxi universities includes 5 aspects, with a total of 35 measures: 1) developing teacher allocation; 2) developing theoretical teaching; 3) developing practical activities; 4) developing service platform; 5) developing incentive policies. The suitability and feasibility of guidelines for developing innovation and entrepreneurship education of universities in Guangxi in 5 aspects were at highest level.
