Abstract

The objectives of this mixed methods research were: 1) to study the factors of health innovator. 2) to examine the validity of the health innovator factors of undergraduate students in Sirindhorn College of Public Health, Trang Province, under the Faculty of Public Health and Allied Health Sciences Praboromarajchanok Institute. The variables analyzed or the variables observed were 38 variables. The sample size, 226 students, were 7 times of variables. They were selected by multistage random sampling. Research tool was a questionnaire tested for accuracy by 7 experts with a validity index for the entire content equal to 1.00, and had a reliability of 0.93. Data were analyzed by exploratory factor analysis technique. Factors were extracted by principal factor analysis and orthogonal factor axes by Varimax method. The validity validation was performed on a qualified cohort of 30 subjects to confirm the constituents and indicators based on the research findings.

            The study found that there were a total of 4 factors and 29 indicators as follows: 1st Factor: Growth Mindset, 8 indicators. 2nd Factor: Technology and Health Literacy, 7 indicators. 3rd Factor:  Professional Communication, 8 indicators. 4th Factor: Lifelong Learning, 6 indicators. As for checking for the accuracy according to the actual condition of every indicator, it is accurate according to the condition with a statistically significant at 0.001 level.
