Communication Strategies for referral policy of Primary Health Care System into Practice

The aim of this article is to present a communication strategy for referral policy of primary health care system into practice. From Ministry of Public Health’s policy under the concept of "Moving towards a quality primary health system under a new model of a district health system" that is complicated, toward simple practicality for the local community.The strategy consists of communication process of coordinating and collaborating to provide primary health services; communication and participation between the government sector, local government administration, private sector, and the public sector; and communication to create equity in health and access to health services. Such communication strategy can be applied to link information between primary care units with the power of integrated and continuous communication, which will be an important mechanism for the district health system’s correct understanding for practice, leading to a concrete action.
