ปัจจัยการเลือกศึกษาต่อที่ส่งผลต่อการคงอยู่ของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรี มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตสุราษฎร์ธานี

บทคัดย่อ
งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยการเลือกศึกษาต่อที่ส่งผลต่อการคงอยู่ของนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีของนักศึกษา มหาวิทยาลัยสงขลานครินทร์ วิทยาเขตสุราษฎร์ธานีโดยเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลจากกลุ่มตัวอย่างซึ่งเป็นนักศึกษาระดับปริญญาตรีจำนวน 235 คน ด้วยวิธีการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบสองขั้นตอนโดยการสุ่มตัวอย่างแบบมีชั้นภูมิแยกตามคณะ ใช้แบบสอบถามในการเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลและวิเคราะห์ข้อมูล ด้วยการวิเคราะห์สหสัมพันธ์ การวิเคราะห์ปัจจัยและการวิเคราะห์การถดถอยลอจิสติกด้วยโปรแกรมจาโมวี่ เวอร์ชัน 2.3.21 ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ปัจจัยการเลือกศึกษาต่อ ได้แก่ ปัจจัยด้านหลักสูตร ปัจจัยด้านการเงิน ปัจจัยด้านเหตุผลส่วนตัวและเกรดเฉลี่ยสะสมส่งผลต่อการคงอยู่ของนักศึกษาอย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติที่ระดับ .05 โดยองค์ความรู้ใหม่ที่ค้นพบในงานวิจัยนี้ คือ จากปัจจัยที่มีอิทธิพลต่อการเลือกศึกษาต่อของนักศึกษาทั้งหมด 8 ปัจจัย มีเพียง 4 ปัจจัยเท่านั้นที่ส่งผลต่อการคงอยู่ของนักศึกษา ได้แก่ ปัจจัยด้านหลักสูตร ปัจจัยด้านการเงิน ปัจจัยด้านเหตุผลส่วนตัว และเกรดเฉลี่ยสะสม ดังนั้น จากผลการวิจัยนี้ ผู้วิจัยให้ข้อคิดเห็นว่า มหาวิทยาลัยควรให้ความสำคัญกับการปรับปรุงและพัฒนาหลักสูตรให้มีความทันสมัยและสอดคล้องกับความต้องการนักศึกษา และมีการจัดตั้งศูนย์ One Stop Service (OSS) เพื่อให้คำปรึกษาและความช่วยเหลือนักศึกษาในทุก ๆ ด้าน
