ค่านิยมที่สะท้อนจากชื่อสกุลคนไทยอีสานในตำบลบรบือ อำเภอบรบือ จังหวัดมหาสารคาม : การวิเคราะห์ทางอรรถศาสตร์ชาติพันธุ์

นามสกุลเป็นสิ่งที่บ่งบอกถึงที่มา เผ่าพันธุ์หรือตระกูลของมนุษย์ และเป็นสิ่งที่สะท้อนความคิด ค่านิยมรวมถึง วัฒนธรรมของคนในสังคม งานวิจัยนี้ศึกษาความหมายของหน่วยศัพท์ที่นำมาใช้ในการตั้งนามสกุล และค่านิยมของคนไทย อีสานในตำบลบรบือ อำเภอบรบือ จังหวัดมหาสารคามที่สะท้อนจากความหมายตามแนวคิดอรรถศาสตร์ชาติพันธุ์ เก็บข้อมูล ชื่อนามสกุลจากงานทะเบียนราษฎร์ อำเภอบรบือ รวมทั้งสิ้น 1,989 นามสกุล ผลการศึกษาพบความหมายของนามสกุล จำนวน 8 วงความหมาย เรียงตามความถี่จากมากไปหาน้อย ได้แก่ ความหมายเกี่ยวกับทรัพย์สินสิ่งมีค่า ธรรมชาติ ความดีงาม และความเจริญรุ่งเรือง ความเชื่อ อำนาจ วงศ์ตระกูล อาชีพ และวัตถุหรือสิ่งของเครื่องใช้ ทั้งนี้กลุ่มความหมายที่ปรากฏ สะท้อนค่านิยมของคนไทยอีสานใน 4 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ ค่านิยมเกี่ยวกับสิ่งที่ปรารถนาในชีวิต ค่านิยมเกี่ยวกับความเชื่อ ค่านิยมเกี่ยวกับการประกอบอาชีพ และค่านิยมเกี่ยวกับความสัมพันธ์ในครอบครัว ค่านิยมที่ปรากฏสะท้อนให้เห็นระบบ ความคิดและมโนทัศน์ทางวัฒนธรรมของคนไทยอีสาน
