Toys Design for Skeletal Muscle Development of Kids Age between 3-5 years Old

Abstract

The purposes of this project were to study the method of toys design for skeletal muscle development of kids age between 3-5 years old and to study any details effecting materials design together with customers’ demand in order to design toy for enhancing skeletal muscle development along with promoting learning mathematics skill. The research tools were divided into 3 items as the following details; 1) Interview form for 3 specialists in children i.e. pediatrics, toy designers and physical teachers in order to get children’ behavior data and the way to design and develop toys. Then all data were analyzed for toys design. 2) Questionnaire form for 100 of parents living in Udon Thani district in the area of suitability and demand of toys for skeletal muscle development of kids between 3-5 years old. Then all the results were analyzed in percentage for original products design. 3) Evaluation forms for 5 of kindergarten students grade 1-3 of Udon Thani Rajabhat Demonstration School by letting them play original products in order to test efficiency and collect data for fulfill original products. The way of toys design was the little tikes that could be adapted as study tables for 2 sides using. Moreover, it could improve skeletal muscle development along with promoting learning mathematics skill. Warm color, wood material and orange-white pattern of anemone fish were used, due to suitability and safety in structure production of toys for skeletal muscle development.
