Abstract

The research titled A Study on the Process of Intergrating Thai Dance into Exercise Developed by Thai Fit Group aimed to study on the procedures of Thai Dance integration with the THAIFIT group’s exercise and to analyze the Thai Dance movements of THAIFIT group together with the method of exercise. The research was conducted under the qualitative research’s procedures and gathered information by documents, interviews, observation and information media.

The study found that 1.) the study of the integration of Thai Dance and the THAIFIT’s exercise included the Beginning process, which started with the knowledge of Thai music, Thai dance and the physical knowledge about the founder and co-founders of THAIFIT group, next, the Creation and Development processes, which were the Classroom trial, music design, dancing movement examination, the training and the exercise class instruction, next, the Production process, which was the brand creation and new exercise coaches originating. Then, the integration was to combine the knowledge of Thai dance, which were types of Thai dance, dancing movements Thai music and Thai costumes together with the exercise, which included the elements of physical fitness, exercise procedures, music and costumes. 2.) the Thai dance integrating to THAIFIT group such as Thai Myth, Thai Folk and Thai Martial Arts related to two aspects of exercise such as 1) Physical fitness and 2) Aerobic exercise method and non-impact aerobic exercise.
